Judy Salinsky's Art

Enjoy the creative process of Bronze sculptures. This is a journal of my personal experience making sculptures out of bronze. Many people are unfamilar with the process, it takes many steps and man hours to create such a piece. "Did you make that with your hands?!" Yes, that was a question I was asked. Growing up in an age of non-technology had its rewards, knowing how to use your hands.

Ocean Dancer II the first steps

After heating up the bronze agite to 2,400 degrees it is time to pour. The shell is stablized before the bronze is added.

The Crucible is the glowing orange pot that holds the molten bronze

Within hours an artist is able to clip away and see their sculpture
